Mindfulness and Peak Performance
What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is a way of paying attention to, and seeing clearly whatever is happening in our lives. It will not eliminate life's pressures, but it can help us respond to them in a calmer manner that benefits our heart, head, and body. It helps us recognise and step away from habitual, often unconscious emotional and physiological reactions to everyday events. It provides us with a scientifically researched approach to cultivating clarity, insight, and understanding.
"Essentially, mindfulness is being in the moment: it's really about being engaged with what we're doing in each moment, rather than being in that distracted mode where we're daydreaming about the past or the future, or caught up in reactivity.
Hence mindfulness is an everyday experience of being engaged and present with whatever we're doing from moment to moment: it's relatively easy to experience when we're doing things we enjoy. But for most of us, it's little harder when we're under the pump at work, stressed, when we're facing exams, when we're sitting in peak hour traffic. For most people, these would be times that we would tend to wander off into the default mode of worrying, or dwelling, or caught up in judgments and reactions, or just daydreaming and not paying attention.
"So in moments like this, mindfulness becomes a practise. And it is something that we can practise."

Mindfulness and Peak Performance
In my approach, Mindfulness is a very powerful tool for Client, to restore attention on his goal, to focus the mind on the primary aims without stressing ourself.
With Mindfulness, we can also learn how to maintain and increase work performances, to manage our time better, be non-judgmental and live our daily life fully.
Hence, in private life it can help during any period of stress and anxiety.
In working life it is helpful to increase performance avoiding the burn-out situations.
I have a long term experience with meditation techniques, so in my sessions as in daily life, it's necessary to wear different clothes from your normal clothes: any meditation techniques are for everyday life.
